Shipping policy
Dispatch and Delivery At London Laboquip, we strive to dispatch all orders on the same or next working day. Orders placed before our 12:30 pm cut off time will be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after our cut off time will be dispatched the following day. We carefully select couriers based on the size, weight, and destination of the item to optimise delivery.
Standard Shipping: For our standard shipping service, we use a 2 or 3 working day delivery service. For most parcels, this may be Parcelforce, Royal Mail, or Yodel. Our standard shipping rate is as follows:
- Up to £60 Net: £5.99 (Excluding VAT)
- Above £60 Net: Free
Express Shipping: For our express shipping service, we use a 1 working day courier. In most cases, this is Parcelforce, Royal Mail, or DHL. Our express shipping rate is as follows:
- Up to £60: £7.99 (Excluding VAT)
- Above £60: £3.99 (Excluding VAT)
Special Handling: Certain delicate items, such as burettes, require special delivery handling to ensure safety. For these items, additional delivery charges may apply if it be ordered along with other items, and you will be informed via a separate invoice.
Delivery Delays While we endeavour to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, especially during peak seasons. If your order has not arrived within 7 working days, please contact us. We will trace your parcel and arrange for re-shipment if necessary.
Missed Deliveries: Missed delivery procedures depend on the courier service used. Most couriers offer to redeliver the item again for free or offer local collection. If your parcel is returned to us due to issues with delivering your parcel, you can request a refund (excluding shipping costs), or arrange a reshipment, provided you cover any additional postage costs.
Remote Locations Please be aware that deliveries to certain areas, including parts of Northern Ireland and remote areas in Scotland (e.g., postcodes such as AB, BT, FK, HS, IV, KA, KW, ML, PA, PH, ZE), may take longer, typically 4-5 days. We will inform you of any additional delivery charges to these areas via a separate invoice prior to shipping.
Heavy or Bulky Orders Orders weighing over 15 kg, exceeding 0.5 cubic metres, or consisting of more than one outer case/carton may incur additional delivery costs, typically £4.99 excluding VAT per extra case/carton. A separate invoice will be issued for these costs.
